Callander is a small town in the region of Stirling in Scotland, situated on the River Teith.
Often referred to as the "Gateway to the Highlands", the town serves as the eastern gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the first national park in Scotland.

  London - Clock Tower and Houses of Parliament Posted in 1917 Blurb on the back of the postcard reads: Erected in 1840 on the site of the old Palace of Westminster covering 8 acres, contains 100 staircases, 11 open courts and 1,100 apartments.  Can be seen Saturday 10 to 4.  Victoria Tower is 340 feet high.  Clock Tower 318 feet.  The four clock dials are each 23 feet in diameter. MACHYNLLETH, POWYS Publisher is Judges No. C725 Machynlleth is a market town and is twinned with Belleville in Michigan, USA. There is a long history of human activity in the area and in the late 1990's radiocarbon dating showed that copper mining was taking place in the early Bronze Age (2,750 years ago).
