It was built in 1804 as part of the coastal defences to defend England against the armies of Napoleon Bonaparte. Today the Tower has been restored and is open to the public as a museum. Eastbourne Town Hall Unused Very Good Condition with slight corners wear "Dainty" Series Number 2309 I have no idea of the year but I would guess at around the start of the 1900's - what a magnificent building - very impressive!
