Happy New Year 'Bonne Annee' Postcard Unposted, there is handwriting on the back and a date which, I think, is 1911 Condition: Good: Some corners wear This is a very pretty picture of Roses in a Vase
London - Clock Tower and Houses of Parliament Posted in 1917 Blurb on the back of the postcard reads: Erected in 1840 on the site of the old Palace of Westminster covering 8 acres, contains 100 staircases, 11 open courts and 1,100 apartments. Can be seen Saturday 10 to 4. Victoria Tower is 340 feet high. Clock Tower 318 feet. The four clock dials are each 23 feet in diameter. Check it out on Ebay Big Ben Clock Journal by Laura LaBoone
MACHYNLLETH, POWYS Publisher is Judges No. C725 Machynlleth is a market town and is twinned with Belleville in Michigan, USA. There is a long history of human activity in the area and in the late 1990's radiocarbon dating showed that copper mining was taking place in the early Bronze Age (2,750 years ago).
