  1. I have a picture of Aldwych from my grandmother. It looks almost like this one. The difference is the picture was taken from the ground. Too bad this card is already sold. Such antiques are very hard to be found.

London - Clock Tower and the Houses of Parliament

  London - Clock Tower and Houses of Parliament Posted in 1917 Blurb on the back of the postcard reads: Erected in 1840 on the site of the old Palace of Westminster covering 8 acres, contains 100 staircases, 11 open courts and 1,100 apartments.  Can be seen Saturday 10 to 4.  Victoria Tower is 340 feet high.  Clock Tower 318 feet.  The four clock dials are each 23 feet in diameter.
