  London - Clock Tower and Houses of Parliament Posted in 1917 Blurb on the back of the postcard reads: Erected in 1840 on the site of the old Palace of Westminster covering 8 acres, contains 100 staircases, 11 open courts and 1,100 apartments.  Can be seen Saturday 10 to 4.  Victoria Tower is 340 feet high.  Clock Tower 318 feet.  The four clock dials are each 23 feet in diameter. The Church St. Gudule and Congress Column stand out well. A magnificent view of the North East part of the town is obtained.
